The Aloha Boys (Kyah & Levi) were born & raised in OC California.

In 2013, Kyah & Levi had their very first SHAVE ICE while vacationing with their parents in Maui. This is when the SHAVE ICE addiction began for the Dison family! Over the years they would take several trips to the Islands of Maui & Kauai and made it a priority to enjoy a SHAVE ICE on almost a daily basis. They would stop at several SHAVE ICE locations, but to their disappointment, only one location used real fruit nectars and the others couldn’t compare.

Year after year, vacation after vacation, they kept telling each other, “We need to bring this amazing
Hawaiian SHAVE ICE delight to our own backyard for our family, friends & of course our home parties!” Finally, they made a decision to start the process of making this dream come to fruition!

The Dison family hired a contractor to build a custom “SHAVE CAVE” in their backyard for hosting their
parties & events. Shortly after they purchased a commercial grade, SHAVE ICE machine. (The same one that was used in Maui at their favorite spot!)

Now it was time to design & develop powdery soft SHAVE ICE & exotic home-made flavors with high quality syrups and real fruit nectars!

The Dison’s began using the very best quality pure water filtration system for every block of ice that was set on their commercial grade Ice Shaver. Then they started to grow Organic Passion Fruit in their backyard. Why the Passion Fruit? Because in Maui they experienced passion fruit syrup with pulp & seeds on their first SHAVE ICE & it was BEYOND AMAZING!!! Unfortunately, their favorite SHAVE ICE spot would only have this in-house syrup recipe available, only 20% of the year.

By growing their own Passion Fruit, they knew they could have it available year round for family and friends!

The Dison’s started developing home-made recipes with REAL FRUIT NECTARS to give a rich, mouth-watering “Aloha Taste” for all their party guests.

Their SHAVE ICE was such a hit at all of their backyard parties, that their friends kept encouraging them to start a SHAVE ICE business.

After a few years of them hearing this request over and over -The Dison’s decided to invest into this venture and start “ALOHA BOYS SHAVE ICE CATERING” to create lasting memories for all to enjoy…for their special events, birthdays, anniversaries & any kind of memory-making backyard party, that anyone can possibly think of…!!!
